When a car accident leaves a child injured, the last thing on the minds of most parents is the cost of any life-saving medical treatments. They are simply grateful that their children survived. According to troopers, the accident occurred when the father of the two children was driving south on Ohio State Route 109. A truck operated by a 24-year-old was traveling west when the driver failed to yield at a stop sign. The truck collided with the car, sending both vehicles off the road until they came to a stop in a field.
The children’s mother, who was riding in the front seat of the car, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Thankfully, the couple’s older children, 8 and 9 years old, were uninjured in the collision. However, the younger children’s serious injuries will undoubtedly result in mounting costs as they struggle to recover from the accident.
