The issues that can arise after a car accident may leave individuals feeling overwhelmed about where to turn for help. Reports stated that the accident took place around 9 p.m. and involved one vehicle. There were at least two individuals in the car at the time of the accident, an 18-year-old driver and a 17-year-old passenger. The driver was unable to maintain control of the vehicle while traveling, and the car left the road before striking a pole.
The driver of the car escaped the crash without injury. However, his passenger suffered serious injuries, and he was later declared dead at an area hospital. It was noted that both individuals were wearing seat belts. Residents of the area where the crash took place stated that speeding vehicles were always a concern, but it was unclear whether the driver was speeding when this accident occurred. Authorities are continuing to investigate.
